Small dosages of insulin for a diabetic child.

A new member with a small diabetic child brings up an important technical challenge.

His young daughter  is very sensitive to insulin, and he wants to be able to give very small dosages to smooth out blood sugars.

He was hoping that the pendiq insulin pen would be able to give accurate dosages under 0.5 units.

Unfortunately, I was unable to set the pen to inject less than 0.5 units. It has 0.1 increments, but only after the basis dosage of 0.5.

If anyone out there has experience with this issue with small children, please let us know.

This seems like a perfect place for digital tech, anyone out there want to work on this product? Let’s talk.
